Legs & Back

After a four day hiatus, I returned to my garage gym. One of the things that I was missing was a pullup bar. The door frame one that I bought years ago won't work in my new space because the door is blocked by a shelf and there is no door frame (slightly important).

So, I took a hint from Rogue Fitness Personal Pull System which I will post about later. Very cheap and very easy to put together.

Day 3 - Arms & Shoulders

All in all, not a terrible workout. Went about :45 minutes into the workout before time ran out. (I mean, I had to get my ass to the shower and work)

Started at 6:10am. I was groggy and very much wanted to stay in bed, but my brain would not allow it as I have one of those brains that really can't sleep past a certain hour and that certain hour for me is 6:30am. Joy.

Weapons of choice...

Tricep Kickbacks:

Full Supination Curls:

Tricep Chair Dips:

Lying Down Tricep Extensions:

Crouching Cohen Curls:

All in all, I felt okay with this workout. But I usually do. It's the least strenuous of the workouts, IMO, and it's my strongest body part...muscle-wise. ;)

Day 2 - Plyometrics

I thought I could get through the whole workout, but alas, my one year of not working out has come roaring back to me in the guise of blast furnace called my chest. I was just physically unable to complete the workout. I lasted into minute :34 of it.

While this was depressing, I'm not daunted by it. I will continue forward tomorrow with the Arms/Shoulders workout (my favorite).
